# Creating a CSV file

#### **Creating the CSV file**

In the *Options* tab, you can automatically generate a CSV file for your LCA by clicking the *Create CSV file* button. The file can also be opened directly in Excel.

#### **Structure**

The CSV file is divided into three main sections:

**Header **

The header contains general information about the file, including:

- Creation date and time of the file
- Assigned structural element
- Reference period of the calculation
- Selected unit
- Used database
- Used model

**First result table**

The first table contains all calculated indicators, except for biogenic carbon information.

**Second result table**

The second table contains only the biogenic carbon results, separated into:

- Packaging
- Product

**Table structure**

Both tables are semicolon-separated:

- The **first row** contains the indicator names
- The **second row** contains the corresponding units
- The following rows contain the results, broken down and summed across the respective life cycle phases
