Company hierarchy

Using the hierarchy, you can view the existing organisational structure and add or remove structural elements from the report.

The company hierarchy is displayed in Climate Hub as a tree structure. It allows to:

  • view the underlying organisational structure of a report
  • navigate between individual structural elements
  • add or remove structural elements.

You can access the hierarchy via the “Hierarchy” tab in the top-level navigation.


Accessing the hierarchy

1. Open a report.

2. In the top-level navigation, switch to the "Hierarchy" tab.


The hierarchy is displayed as a tree structure. At the right end of each row, you can see the percentage share of the respective structural element.


Navigating the hierarchy

  • Expand and collapse elements:
    Click the chevron icon next to a structural element to expand or collapse its subordinate elements.
     

  • Navigate to the data section:
    Click the
    name of a structural element to go directly to the corresponding section in the "Data" tab.



Searching for structural elements

A search function is located in the upper right corner. 

How to use the search:

1. Enter a character string into search field.

2. The hierarchy displays all matching structural elements - including their parent path.



Adding structural elements

You can add new structural elements as subordinate elements:

1. Click the plus icon at the end of the row of a structural element.

2. A popup window opens.

3. Select an existing structural element from the dropdown.

4. In the “Share” field, specify the percentage by which the structural element is assigned to the parent entity.

5. Click "Confirm" to add the structural element to the organisational structure.

Removing structural elements

1. Click the trash icon to remove a structural element from the current hierarchy. Removal is only possible if the structural element does not have any subordinate elements.

2. A pop-up window will appear; you must tick the checkbox and confirm the deletion. Once confirmed, all data associated with this structural element will be deleted. This action cannot be undone.

Note: Changes to the organizational structure only affect the currently opened CCF report.
The organizational structure in the “Company” tab and in other CCF reports remains unchanged.
