The Data tab within a PCF report allows you to enter activity data for the various life cycle stages. You can switch between stages to enter your data.
Site-dependent stages
The first three stages – raw material acquisition, production and distribution – are site-dependent. This means that you enter the activity data for each production site separately. You can switch between sites using the Structural element drop-down menu. This structure allows you to create site-specific PDF reports and perform detailed analyses per site later on.
Site-independent stages
The last two stages – use and end-of-life – are site-independent. The Structural element drop-down menu is therefore deactivated, as the data is entered for all sites together. You therefore enter the consumption data as a total sum. This site-independent view is also taken into account in the PDF report and the analyses by allocating the two stages to all sites. A corresponding note is displayed.
