Scope 3: Importing consumption data

Consumption data can be uploaded via a CSV template.

In Scope 3, the data can not only be entered manually, but also uploaded as a CSV file and automatically integrated into the system. To do this, first download the CSV template using the specific data upload button and follow the provided instructions.

The input values are then entered line by line in the corresponding fields. The predefined selection options from the Climate Hub must be used for the “Unit”, “Precision” and “Status” fields, otherwise an error message will appear when uploading:

After entering the data, the file can be uploaded again using the upload button. Excel users should ensure that the file is saved in UTF-8 character format. To do this, click on Save file as and then select the appropriate file format. The data is then automatically transferred to the Climate Hub.
