Adjustments to ESRS E1-5
April 11th, 2025
The following adjustments have been implemented in E1-5:
Design change in Scope 1:
When adding an own factor, the input fields for the energy source and conversion factor are now located below the input for the factor itself.
Changes to the Energy balance in scope 2:
The "Energy balance" table is now independent of the selected Scope 2 method in the "Base Data" tab.
For own activities in scope 2, there is now only one input field for the shares of renewable and nuclear energy. This is now visually separated and placed below the input for market-based and location-based factors.
In the input fields, values over 100% cannot be entered, either individually or in total. A warning will appear, and the checkmark to save will be disabled.
For technical reasons, rows 6, 11, and the total energy consumption can no longer be directly considered as the sum of the rows above them. This means the values in these rows are rounded to two decimal places for better clarity. However, the original value is used for the exact calculation of the totals. A note regarding this can also be found directly in the info box.
