How do I upload my product mapping?

Product Mapping:

The platform requires you to map each outbound product that you sell to your customers to its respective inbound product(s) delivered by your suppliers. This mapping ensures that the due diligence information for the inbound products is carried over and linked to the outbound products.

Uploading product mapping via Excel Template

1. Go to "EUDR" in the main menu.

2. Select "Products".

3. Select "Outbound Products".

4. Click on "Upload product mapping" in the top right-hand corner.

    • Click "Download template"

    Fill out the template

    1. Column A: Select a "Outbound Product ID" which was previously uploaded.

    2. Column B: Select the "Inbound Product ID" which was previously uploaded and that goes into your outbound products.

    3. Column C: Enter the "Supplier ID" of the Inbound product that you entered when inviting the supplier.

    Explanations and examples

The supplier ID is needed to clearly identify which inbound product the systems needs to consider for the mapping as there can be the same product ID for multiple suppliers.

If you are a trader, the inbound product will match the outbound product, just with different IDs.

If you are a producer, several inbound products may go into one outbound product or vice versa. Please note that the EUDR does not require you to depict material flows to the last detail. It is recommended to rather overstate than understate.

If several inbound products go into one outbound product, you need to add one line for each inbound product, matching it to the same outbound product. Example: Inbound Product A, B, C go into outbound product D. The upload Template would look like this:

If one inbound product goes into several outbound product, you need to add one line for each outbound product, matching it to the same inbound product. Example: Inbound Product E goes into Outbound Products F, G, H. The upload template would look like this:

    • In the second worksheet "READ ME" you will find further explanations of the individual columns to be filled in.
