External database: 100 000+ new emission factors

The external database climatiq (Climatiq Data Explorer - Search Global Carbon Emission Factors) has released over 100 000 new emission factors. These are now available for you to use! Simply explore them via the "Search factor (activity based)" button in scope 3.

The release includes the following new datasets:

PCAF: a global partnership of financial institutions offering emission factors for mortgages and real estate across Europe
Agribalyse: a dataset developed by ADEME, provides life cycle assessment data for agricultural products such as unprepared fruit, vegetables, and other agricultural products as well as prepared foods
Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy: provides emission factors for electricity generation (including imports and exports)
CO2 Emissiefactoren 2024: compiled by Dutch environmental organizations, including the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), covers energy, transport, materials, and manufacturing
