PCF: Archiving products and improved deletion behaviour

Products can now be archived

Active products can be archived via a new archive icon in the product list. They will then appear in the new Archived tab. Existing PCF reports are fully preserved. However, no new PCF reports can be created for archived products, and they no longer appear in the active product list, the product search, or the dropdown when creating a report.

Restoring archived products

Archived products can be restored at any time using the Restore product button in the Archived tab. Once restored, the product reappears in the active list and is available for new PCF reports.

Deleting products

Deleting a product cannot be undone. Products with existing PCF reports cannot be deleted — the delete icon is disabled in this case and displays an explanatory tooltip. Products without PCF reports can be deleted from either tab (Active and Archived). Deletion is permanent and all product data will be irreversibly removed.

Extended name validation when creating or renaming products

When creating or renaming products, archived products are now included in the name check:

• A new product name must not be identical to a name in the archive.
• When renaming an archived product, the new name must not already exist in the active product list.

In both cases, an error message is displayed below the Product name field and saving is disabled.
