TABLE OF CONTENTS

Case 1: You have been asked to invite your subsidiaries by a customer

Case 2: You want to conduct a risk analysis in your business area according to the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz - LkSG)

I. Identify subsidiaries to invite

The scope of the subsidiaries to be invited should be discussed with your VERSO Customer Success manager, in the Kick-off meeting or another onboarding session.

The information required for their invitation can be directly collected in the contact import template.

Case 1:

  • Click "Complete" next to the "supplier disclosure request" of your customer.
  • Click "Download the template".

Case 2:
  • Go to "Requests" >> "Invite Suppliers".
  • Click "Download the template".

II. Email your subsidiaries announcing the invitation

Please inform your subsidiaries in scope via email that they are about to receive an invitation email to the platform.

III. Invite your subsidiaries by sending a connection request via the platform

Inviting your subsidiaries directly via the platform by sending them connection requests:

Please read the following article carefully before completing the invitation: How do I send a connection request?
  • As described in section I. of the above article, make sure to click on "Show advanced options" (see (6) of the screenshot) and select all your customers under "Share data".
  • As described in section IV. of the above article, add the standard tag "Subsidiary" for every subsidiary company you invite.

To guarantee GDPR compliance and confidentiality, all information about your subsidiaries - including personal data - provided by you on the platform is only used to send out the connection request and is not accessible to anyone else.

If you have configured the connection request as described in section I. / (6) of the above article, your subsidiaries have to decide, whether they want to share their company profile with your customer upon completing the request.

IV. Track the progress of the sent connection requests on the platform

At the top of your company profile, you can see the total number of completed connection requests.

For more details, you can track the status of connection requests sent to subsidiaries in the sent request list view by clicking on the menu item "Requests" >> "Sent" >> "Connection Requests" and by filtering for the Tag "Subsidiary" in the upper filter bar.
