If you have received a facility disclosure request from one of your customers, and you need help finding the steps on how to complete a request, please see this article first: How do I complete requests from my customers?
With a facility disclosure request, your customer wants you to list your facilities to understand which of them are supplying his facilities. In the request, you can select or add those of your facilities supplying the listed facilities of your customer.
I. Answering a facility disclosure request
Once you have clicked on "complete" next to the respective request under "Pending Requests" in your company profile view (as described in the above article), please proceed as follows:
For each listed customer facility, either
a. Select "I don't supply this facility" if none of your facilities supplies the listed customer facility.
b. Select an existing facility of yours supplying this facility.
b.1. Click "Add another of my facilities supplying the above customer facility".In this step you must add ALL facilities supplying your customer's facility, even if they are responsible only for a small share of the total volume.
- Click "Next" after filling in all information to go to the next page to complete the request
Depending on the number of facilities, you have to fill out 1 or more pages.
- Fill in all required information and click "Create".
If the supplying facility does not belong to your company (e.g., a subcontracted warehouse), choose your headquarters.
- Click "Complete" to finish the request.
- If you do not want or can't answer the request, you can decline it by clicking "Decline Request".
