I. Identify suppliers to invite
Case I. You are sending out connection requests to suppliers on your initiative
The scope of the platform's use and the suppliers to be invited are discussed with your VERSO Customer Success manager during the Kick-off meeting.
Case II. You received a "Supplier Disclosure Request" from your customer
Unless you are being told otherwise by your customer, you should invite all suppliers relevant to the products you are supplying to your customer. You may contact your procurement department to identify relevant suppliers and obtain the supplier information required for their invitation (company name and contact person).
If you are unsure about which suppliers to invite, please first check the instructions provided by your customer before contacting your customer.
II. Email your suppliers announcing the invitation
Please inform your suppliers in scope via email that they are about to receive an invitation email to the platform. In case, you received an Announcement Letter from your customer, please forward it to your suppliers (Case II).
III. Invite your suppliers by sending a connection request via the platform
Invite your suppliers directly via the platform by sending them connection requests.
Please read the following article carefully before completing the invitation: How do I send a connection request?
To guarantee GDPR compliance and confidentiality, all information about your suppliers - including personal data - provided by you on the platform is only used to send out the connection request and is not accessible to anyone else.
If, you have configured the connection request according to the description in I. / (6) (see screenshot in the above-shown article - last section "share data"), upon completion of the request, your suppliers will have to decide whether they want to share their company profile with other downstream companies connected to you.
