How do I proceed if I do not have the consumption data on an annual basis or in a different unit than specified by the Climate Hub?

Due to the inaccuracy assessment, we generally recommend that you always try to collect your consumption data using primary data as far as possible. However, if it is not possible to obtain primary data for certain categories and data points, you have three options: 

• You have accurate CO2e values available. You can then enter these as a new item in the Climate Hub (CO2e direct, in tonnes).
• You have € values available. You search for a suitable spend-based emission factor in our external database as described here. If no suitable factor is available, you can of course expand your search yourself and adjust the factor with inflation and currency adjustments.
• You have extrapolations / assumptions available. You would extrapolate these to the entire balance sheet year and enter them in the existing factors. Please write in the comments field where we can find the extrapolations, as we need these calculations for the plausibility check phase.
