The Climate Hub calculates reportable data points for E1-5 and displays them in the Standards tab.
To view the data points for E1-5, the following steps must be carried out:
1. Specify the base year and the climate-intensive sectors in the Company tab:The company's base year must be specified in the Company tab. Additionally, the company's NACE codes must be shown so that climate-intensive sectors (NACE codes A-H) can be identified.
2. Specifying the accuracy of the consumption data
When entering consumption data, you should indicate the data quality of this data in the Precision column. You can find more information on this under Specification of data quality.
3. For own factors in Scope 1:
When creating new factors in a report under Scope 1 (Stationary Combustion and Vehicle Fleet), the grayed-out field “To be completed for ESRS E1-5” must be filled in. The energy source and the conversion factor in MWh must be specified here.
4. For own factors in Scope 2:
When creating new factors under Scope 2 (electricity, district heating and other), the field with a gray background should also be filled in. It must be indicated whether the energy was self-generated, as well as the shares of renewable and nuclear energy. This applies to both the location-based and the market-based calculation method.
5. Indication of renewable and non-renewable energy generation:
The ESRS E1-5 records the proportion of non-renewable and renewable energy generation. In this context, input fields have been set up under Scope 2 (Electricity) in which the corresponding values can be entered. This data is then automatically displayed in the designated place under Standards in section E1-5: Energy consumption.
6. Net revenue:
ESRS E1-5 requires information on net revenue generated from climate-intensive activities and corresponding referencing in the financial report. For this purpose, an input field has been integrated into the basic data at the top level of the company hierarchy in which this information can be entered. The entries are then output under Standards and in section E1-5: Energy consumption in the designated place.
7. Create reports for two consecutive years:
Reports must have been created for two consecutive years, as the table under Standards calculates and outputs the values for the current year and the previous year.
If the conditions just listed are met, the data points required by the ESRS are displayed in the Standards tab. The calculated values can be copied using the copy button in the top right-hand corner of the respective table and exported to a CSV file.
